Rigel by KING is a hair salon in Nishishinsaibashi (Amerimura), right in the middle of Osaka’s shopping and nightlife district. We are open from 10:00 to 23:00, seven days a week — so you can come after a full day of sightseeing.
We specialise in hair extensions and bleach / high-tone color. Many of our guests come to us for a change of look while they are travelling.
Our staff do not speak fluent English, but we use translation apps for every consultation. Guests from overseas visit us regularly, and communication has not been a problem. Photos of the style you want are always welcome — they help more than words.

Route from the station
From Shinsaibashi Station Exit 7 (in front of OPA), walk along Midosuji toward Namba. Turn right at the Apple Store crossing into Amerimura, then turn left at the UGG store corner. Our building is in front of the shrine, with a pancake shop on the ground floor. We are on the 5th floor.
Do you speak English?
Our staff are not fluent in English, but we use translation apps for consultations and this works well. Guests from overseas visit us regularly. Bringing a photo of the style you want makes everything much easier.
How do I book if I do not have a Japanese phone number?
The easiest way is to send us a direct message on Instagram (@06by_king) with your preferred date, time and the style you want. You can also call us at 06-4708-6642. Our online booking site is in Japanese and usually requires a Japanese phone number, so we recommend Instagram for visitors.
How much do hair extensions cost in Osaka?
At Rigel by KING, sealed extensions start from about 19,800 yen for 60 strands, and 33,000 yen for our top-grade 60 strands. A single accent extension starts at 5,500 yen. The final price depends on length and how many strands you need.
How long does a hair extension appointment take?
It depends on the number of strands. As a rough guide, please allow around 2 to 3 hours for a full length-out with 60 to 80 strands, including the cut that blends them with your own hair. Please tell us if you have a schedule to keep.
Can I get an appointment on the same day?
Same-day appointments are often possible, especially for evening slots. Message us on Instagram or call the salon to check availability. Bleach and extension services take longer, so earlier contact is safer.
Can you bleach dark Asian hair?
Yes. Bleach is our specialty. How light we can go in one session depends on your hair history — previous color, perms or straightening treatments all affect it. We will check your hair and tell you honestly what is realistic.
